Team of CE Students Finishes Second in SWANA Competition
UTA College of Engineering News –
A team of University of Texas at Arlington civil engineering students placed second in the Solid Waste Association of North America’s International Solid Waste Design Competition in September 2017. The team, supervised by Hossain, included Ph.D. student and team captain Rakib Ahmed, Ph.D. students Md Ishtiaque Hossain and Anuja Sapkota, master’s students Fouzia Hossain Oyshi and Lucas Hoyos (MS Student), and senior Maddie McCollough. Juniors Sachini Madanayake and Muhasina Manjur Dola also contributed greatly to the team.
